through the accumulation of lollipop sticks, referencing the remedy for drips after snorting, the work implements the bed of nails (an educational resource for pressure) to explore how repetition and over-dependency results in desensitization. however, the same source of accumulation dulls out the numbing agent and becomes a form of regularity as a means of subtracting the potency out of the coping mechanism.
